On the occasion of Martyrs’ Day, a solemn ceremony was held at the Central Shaheed Minar. On 21 February 2026, the day of International Mother Language Day, people from various walks of life paid homage to the martyrs. Representatives from government and non-government organizations, students, members of cultural and social organizations, and the general public attended the program. During the event, floral tributes were offered at the Shaheed Minar, and speeches, recitations, and cultural performances were presented to honor the memory of the language martyrs.
