The Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) commemorated the 104th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and National Children’s Day on Sunday, March 17th, 2024.

Md. Ali Akhtar Hossain, the Chief Engineer of LGED, led a tribute ceremony by laying a floral wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu installed at the LGED headquarters. Additional Chief Engineers, Supervising Engineers, Project Directors, Executive Engineers, and all levels of officers and employees participated in the event.

Following the wreath-laying ceremony, a dua (prayer) was offered for the peace of the departed soul of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The program concluded with a discussion session held in the LGED hall room.
