LGED-CReLIC holds workshop on developing E-Learning Content

The Climate Resilient Local Infrastructure Centre (CReLIC) under the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) organised an inception workshop on e-learning content development at the LGED headquarters .

The workshop was arranged under the Climate Resilient Infrastructure Mainstreaming Project to strengthen digital learning and professional capacity development for engineers and field-level officials.

LGED Additional Chief Engineer and CReLIC Director Md Azharul Islam presided over the programme, while LGED Chief Engineer Md Belal Hossain attended as the chief guest.

Speaking at the event, Belal Hossain said e-learning would play an important role in improving the skills of engineers involved in building modern and climate-resilient infrastructure across the country.

He said the initiative aims to create quality digital training content that can also support field-level staff through online learning platforms.

During the workshop, consulting firm ADDIE Soft Ltd presented its proposed roadmap and content development strategy through a PowerPoint presentation.

The presentation was delivered by Content Developers Md Imran Hussain and Md Mizanur Rahman, along with Assistant General Manager Md Shariful Islam.

Among others present at the event were LGED Additional Chief Engineers Abul Bashed Mohammad Rezaul Bari, Syeda Asma Khatun, Kazi Saiful Kabir, Molla Mizanur Rahman and Md Wahiduzzaman.

Superintending Engineers Md Golam Mowla and Md Akhter Hossain also attended the workshop.

The programme was further attended by Climate Resilient Infrastructure Mainstreaming Project-CReLIC Project Director Md Abdul Khalek, Executive Engineers Md Latif Hossain and Fatema Ismat Ara, Assistant Engineer Arpan Paul, and several specialist consultants and project officials of LGED.
