Krishi Bank Launches Service Fortnight for Youth 2025

Inauguration of ‘Customer Service Fortnight’ at Bangladesh Krishi Bank on the Occasion of Youth Festival 2025

On the occasion of ‘Youth Festival 2025’, the Financial Institutions Division initiated the observance of ‘Customer Service Fortnight’ across state-owned commercial banks, specialized banks and financial institutions from 19 October 2025 to 02 November 2025. As part of this initiative, Bangladesh Krishi Bank officially inaugurated the program on 19 October 2025 through a ceremonial event. The Joint Secretary of the Financial Institutions Division of government of the people’s republic of Bangladesh Maksuma Akter Banu was present as the Chief Guest. In her remarks, the chief guest said, “Let customer satisfaction and their smiling faces be the core objective of ‘Customer Service Fortnight’ for a customer’s smile is the most powerful means of promoting any institution.” She urged all officials of the bank to contribute sincerely to making Youth Festival 2025 successful by delivering quality customer service. She further stated that although various banks under the Financial Institutions Division have undertaken different programs to celebrate the Youth Festival 2025 but Bangladesh Krishi Bank’s initiatives, such as launching special savings schemes for the youth and distributing bicycles to school-going daughters of remittance-receiving families are truly innovative steps that deserve appreciation. The Managing Director of Bangladesh Krishi Bank Sanchia Binte Ali presided over the inauguration ceremony from the Boardroom of the head office. In her address, the Managing Director stated that Bangladesh Krishi Bank is tirelessly working to deliver fast, modern and people-centric banking services to customers across all segments of society. There new account opening program and disbursing loan to the Youth under the newly launching special savings schemes in the local principal office on the occasion of ‘Customer Service Fortnight’. The Joint Secretary of the Financial Institutions Division Maksuma Akhtar Banu graced the ceremony as the special guest. Deputy Managing Directors Md. Abdur Rahim and Mohd. Khaleduzzaman, all General Managers and Deputy General Managers of the head office were present at the event. At the same time, all Divisional General Managers, Chief Regional and Regional Managers, Corporate Branch Heads and all Branch Managers joined virtually.
