The “Annual Conference 2026” of Karnaphuli Insurance PLC was held recently at the conference hall of the Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Chairman of Karnaphuli Insurance PLC, Nizam Uddin Ahmed, attended the conference as the chief guest, while Vice Chairman Nasir Uddin Ahmed was present as the special guest. The conference was presided over by the company’s Chief Executive Officer, A. N. M. Fazlul Karim Munshi. Members of the board of directors were also present at the event.

In his address as the chief guest, Chairman Nizam Uddin Ahmed thanked the management and officials at all levels for their collective efforts in achieving an AAA credit rating for the company. He also expressed appreciation for the 16 percent growth in premium income from 2024 to 2025 and voiced satisfaction over the increase in investments in government treasury bonds and fixed deposits in 2025.

He further instructed all concerned to strictly comply with the directives recently issued by the Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA).

At the conference, awards were presented to company officials, employees, and branches for their contributions in various fields during 2025.
