The inauguration of the 278th Birganj Branch of Karmasangsthan Bank, Dinajpur was held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. Former Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Karmasangsthan Bank, Dr. AFM Matiur Rahman inaugurated the branch as the chief guest.
Dinajpur Deputy Commissioner Md. Rafiqul Islam was present as the special guest while Managing Director of Karmasangsthan Bank Arun Kumar Chowdhury presided over the inaugural ceremony. General Manager of the Audit Department of the Karmasangsthan Bank Head Office Md. Amirul Islam, DGM of Loan and Advance Department Md. Moshiur Rahman, DGM of Branch Control Department Monoj Roy, DGM of Rajshahi Divisional Office Md. Mukhlesur Rahman, Birganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer Tanvir Ahmed, Officer-in-Charge of Birganj Police Station Md Abdur Ghafoor, local journalists and all level of peoples also present at the inaugural ceremony.
It is worth noting that the branch’s activities began with the handover of loan checks to the nursery project under the Sanchita program by the borrower of Birganj branch, Mrs Rumi Khatun.
