Mr. Mohammad Abul Hashem, Director of Bangladesh Bank has joined as Administrator on 05 November 2025 to supervise and manage the overall activities of Union Bank PLC. In addition, Additional Directors of Bangladesh Bank Mr. Kazi Abdul Mannan, Mr. Md. Al-Mehedi Hasan and Joint Directors Mr. Md. Tariqul Islam and Mr. Sagar Hossain joined Union Bank on the same date as Associate Administrator. After assuming the responsibility, the Administrator and Associate Administrators met with the senior executives, divisional and zonal heads and head of branches of the bank in a meeting for exchange of views. The honorable Administrator advised all concerned to reassure the customers so that the customers do not get panicked and do not withdraw money from the bank without special need and continue their regular transactions without fear. Moreover, he called upon everyone to take the bank forward by performing their duties with the utmost professionalism.
