The final match and prize-giving ceremony of the Janata Bank Shahid Zia Memorial Football Tournament was held on Tuesday, September 8, at the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) ground in Dhaka.

The tournament was organised by the Zia Parishad Janata Bank Unit and the Janata Bank Nationalist Officers Welfare Association.

In the final, Janata Bank’s Mirpur Warriors defeated Comilla D Lions to clinch the championship title.

Saiful Abedin Selim, president of the Zia Parishad Janata Bank Unit, presided over the programme.

Among those present were Zia Parishad Central Committee Vice Chairman Prof Dr Shafiqul Islam, Joint Secretary General Abul Kalam Azad, Janata Bank General Manager Ruhia Akter, JEBAB Central Committee General Secretary Shah Jahan, Janata Bank Committee President SFM Monir Hossain, Zia Parishad Janata Bank Unit Senior Vice President Monir Ahmed and General Secretary Hafizur Rahman.

Senior executive officials of Janata Bank also attended the final and prize-giving ceremony.
