Janata Bank PLC, one of the country’s largest state-owned banks, has teamed up with leading fintech solutions provider SSL Wireless to introduce a new Biller Payment Service through its Internet Banking platform and eJanata Mobile App, offering customers enhanced convenience with secure and innovative digital financial solutions.
With this service, Janata Bank customers can now seamlessly settle a wide range of payments from their smartphones, including Mobile Top-Up, Education fees, ISP bills, Utility payments such as BREB (prepaid) and BPDB (prepaid), Bus Ticket purchases, and Insurance Premiums. The initiative marks a significant step forward in digitizing daily financial transactions, ensuring faster, safer, and more efficient customer experiences.
The signing ceremony was held at Janata Bank PLC’s Head Office in Dhaka and was attended by senior officials of both organizations. From Janata Bank PLC were Md. Mazibur Rahman, Managing Director, Md. Fayaz Alam, Md. Nazrul Islam and Md. Ashraful Alam, DMD and General Managers. Representing SSL Wireless were Mr. Sayeeful Islam, Managing Director; Md. Iftekhar Alam Ishaque, Chief Executive Officer, Md. Mohiuddin Tawfik, General Manager.
