Janata Bank PLC has introduced the GreenPIN service for its cardholders. The official inauguration of the service took place on Sunday, September 21, at the bank’s head office, with Chairman Muhammad Fazlur Rahman presiding over the ceremony.

Also present at the event were Managing Director Md. Mojibur Rahman, Deputy Managing Directors Md. Golam Mortuza, Md. Fayez Alam, Md. Nazrul Islam, and Md. Ashraful Alam, along with General Manager Mohammad Anis and other senior executives and officials.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Muhammad Fazlur Rahman said that Janata Bank has accelerated its green banking initiatives, and the launch of the GreenPIN service is part of that effort. The new service enhances the security of cardholder information while aiming to provide improved customer service.

Managing Director Md. Mojibur Rahman stated that through this unique service, Janata Bank’s debit and credit card users can now activate their cards and generate or change their PINs instantly from the comfort of their homes, ensuring greater safety and convenience.
