In continuation of expanding customer-friendly modern banking services, Janata Bank PLC has added NPSB (National Payment Switch Bangladesh) Fund Transfer and Mobile Recharge facilities to its digital banking app eJanata. At the same time, the app’s User Interface has been redesigned to make it more modern, attractive, and secure.
On Thursday, November 6, 2025, the new services were officially inaugurated by Mr. Md. Fazlur Rahman, Chairman of Janata Bank PLC, as the chief guest at a simple ceremony. The event was presided over by Managing Director Mr. Md. Mojibur Rahman. Among others, Deputy Managing Directors Mr. Md. Golam Mortuza, Mr. Md. Fayez Alam, and Mr. Md. Ashraful Alam, along with General Manager of the ICT Division Mr. Mohammad Anis, senior executives, and general managers from the head office were present.
The NPSB Fund Transfer service will allow customers to send money quickly, easily, and securely to any bank account in the country. Meanwhile, the Mobile Recharge service will enable customers to instantly recharge their mobile phones, making banking services even simpler, more digital, and time-efficient.
