Janata Bank PLC held its half-yearly Rajshahi divisional conference for branch managers at a local convention centre on Friday, 12 September.
The bank’s Chairman, Md Fazlur Rahman, attended as the chief guest. Managing Director Md Mojibur Rahman and Deputy Managing Director Md Ashraful Alam joined as special guests. Md Jahangir Hossain Jowarder, General Manager-in-Charge of the Rajshahi Divisional Office, presided over the event. Divisional executives and branch managers also participated in the meeting.
Chairman Md Fazlur Rahman directed officials to evaluate customers’ repayment capacity before approving loans and to prioritise reliable clients. Managing Director Md Mojibur Rahman recommended reinvesting deposits within their originating communities.
