On Tuesday, December 3, 2025, Janata Bank PLC held its 866th Board of Directors meeting. The meeting was chaired by the bank’s Chairman, Md. Fazlur Rahman.

The meeting was attended by the bank’s directors Dr. Md. Abdus Sabur, Abdul Majid Sheikh, Abdul Awal Sarkar, Dr. Md. Shahadat Hossain, Md. Ahsan Kabir, Md. Kausar Alam, Md. Obaidul Haque, and Professor Dr. A A Mahbub Uddin Chowdhury, along with the Managing Director Md. Mojibur Rahman.

Also present were the bank’s Deputy Managing Directors Md. Golam Mortuja, Md. Foyez Alam, and Md. Ashraful Alam, along with other relevant General Managers.

The meeting discussed various matters, including the recovery of classified non-performing loans and other operational issues of the bank.
