Janata Bank PLC held a meeting of its Asset-Liability Management Committee (ALCO) at the bank’s head office on Monday, chaired by Managing Director Md. Mujibur Rahman.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Managing Directors Kazi Abdur Rahman and Md. Faez Alam, along with the bank’s General Managers and concerned Deputy General Managers.
During the meeting, Managing Director Md. Mujibur Rahman outlined strategic priorities in light of the current economic situation. He emphasized increasing low-cost deposits and foreign remittance inflows, strengthening the recovery and reduction of classified loans, and intensifying efforts to recover written-off loans.
He also issued necessary directives on various operational matters to enhance the bank’s overall financial performance and ensure effective asset-liability management.
