Janata Bank PLC held its 904th board meeting on Tuesday (October 6, 2026), with Chairman Mohammad Fazlur Rahman CSP presiding.
The meeting was attended by board directors Abdul Awal Sarker, Dr Mohammad Shahadat Hossain, Mohammad Ahsan Kabir, Prof Dr A. A. Mahbub Uddin Chowdhury, Khondkar Mamun FCA and Azijun Nahar.
Managing Director Mohammad Mojibur Rahman and Deputy Managing Directors Mohammad Foyez Alam and Mohammad Nurul Huda also attended the meeting.
The board discussed various issues concerning the bank, including measures to recover classified default loans and other necessary steps for the bank.
