The 880th board meeting of Janata Bank PLC was held on Tuesday (7 April). The meeting was chaired by the bank’s Chairman Md Fazlur Rahman and attended by board members including Brig Gen Munir Ferdous, Dr Md Abdus Sabur, Abdul Majid Sheikh, Abdul Awal Sarker, Dr Md Shahadat Hossain, Md Ahsan Kabir, Md Kawsar Alam and Prof Dr A A Mahbub Uddin Chowdhury.
Also present were Managing Director Md Mozibur Rahman, and Deputy Managing Directors Kazi Abdur Rahman and Md Faiz Alam.
The meeting discussed various operational matters of the bank, with a particular focus on the recovery of classified default loans and other necessary measures to strengthen overall performance.
