Janata Bank celebrates International Women’s Day

On the occasion of celebrating International Women’s Day, Janata Bank Plc. organized a program to congratulate the women workers of the head office in the board room of the bank on Sunday, March 9. Chairman of the bank Muh Fazlur Rahman was present as the chief guest in the event organized with the theme ‘Rights, Equality Empowerment – Development of Women and Girls’. Head Office General Manager Pratibha Rani Sarkar presided over the event as special guests. Nurul Alam FCMA, FCA (CFO). At this time, other executives and officers of the head office were present along with women executives and officers.

He urged women to increase physical and mental capacity and focus on sports. Managing Director Md. Mujibur Rahman said, Janata Bank has launched a special service for women. Janata Bank Women’s Savings for low-income women

A special scheme called ‘Project’ has been launched. The third week of every month is celebrated as Women Customer Service Week in our bank.

Besides, a safe and improved working environment has now been created for women bankers.
