The Asset-Liability Management Committee (ALCO) meeting was held at the bank’s head office on Thursday, August 28, under the chairmanship of Janata Bank PLC Managing Director Md. Mujibur Rahman.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Managing Directors of the bank Md. Golam Mortuza, Md. Fayez Alam, Md. Nazrul Islam and Md. Ashraful Alam, along with General Managers and concerned Deputy General Managers.
At that time, Managing Director Md. Mujibur Rahman determined the action plan in light of the current situation and gave instructions on various necessary issues including increasing low-interest deposits, auto challans, foreign remittances and emphasizing on the recovery and reduction of classified loans, recovery of defaulted loans.
