Jamuna Bank Foundation holds free plastic surgery camp

Jamuna Bank Foundation, in collaboration with Netherlands-based Sichting Interplast Holland, has successfully concluded a two-week Free Plastic Surgery Camp at General Hospital, Munshiganj. Organized and funded by the Foundation, the camp was held from September 26 to October 07, 2026, providing specialized medical treatment and surgical services free of cost to patients with cleft lip, cleft palate and burn-related injuries. During the camp, a total of 326 patients received medical consultations, while 135 patients underwent surgical procedures free of cost.

To mark the successful completion of the camp, a closing ceremony was held at a prestigious hotel in the capital. Al-Haj Nur Mohammed, Chairman of Jamuna Bank Foundation and Chairman of the Executive Committee & Honorable Director of Jamuna Bank PLC, attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest. Md. Shahidul Islam, CEO of Jamuna Bank Foundation and Deputy Managing Director & CRO of Jamuna Bank PLC, was present as the Special Guest. Plastic Surgeon & Team Leader Dr. Menno Huikeshoven, along with members of the medical team from Sichting Interplast Holland, attended the event as honored guests. Senior officials of Jamuna Bank PLC and distinguished dignitaries were also present at the ceremony.
