The University of Dhaka and the InterContinental Dhaka signed a Memorandum of Understanding to advance the country’s tourism and hospitality industries and develop skilled personnel for them on Tuesday.

The event was supervised by A. S. M Maksud Kamal, vice chancellor of DU. Probir Kumar Sarker, the registrar of DU, Santus Kumar Deb, the chairman of DU Tourism and Hospitality Management, a few other faculty members, and senior representatives from the InterContinental Dhaka were in attendance on this particular occasion.

On behalf of their respective sides, General Manager Ashwani Nayar of InterContinental Dhaka and Treasurer Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed of DU signed the Memorandum of Understanding.
