Index trading is down today

All price indices of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the nation’s primary stock market, saw a decrease in activity on the fourth working day of the week. At the same time, 228 companies involved in the deal saw a decline in their share values. In addition, fewer transactions were made than on the day before.

Sources from the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) disclosed this information.

The source claims that on Wednesday, February 19, the DSE’s main index, or “DSEX,” dropped 10.75 points. At the moment, the index stands at 5,192 points.

Furthermore, the ‘DS-30’ index dropped 9.35 points to 1,913 points, while another DSE index, ‘DSES,’ dropped 2.30 points to 1,157 points.

Today, Tk 4,271.358 crore worth of shares and units were traded on the DSE. Tk 5,993.714 crore was exchanged the day before.

Shares and units of 398 businesses were exchanged on the DSE today. The prices of 103 and 228 of the participating firms in the deal went up and down, respectively. Furthermore, the costs
