The grand inauguration of the 279th and 280th branches of Karmasangsthan Bank at Gobindaganj and Sundarganj upazilas of Gaibandha district held on Thursday, May 22, 2025. Former Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Karmasangsthan Bank, Dr. AFM Matiur Rahman inaugurated the branches as the chief guest.

Gaibandha Deputy Commissioner Choudhury Muazzam Ahmed was present as the special guest while Managing Director of Karmasangsthan Bank Arun Kumar Chowdhury presided over the inaugural ceremony. General Manager of the Audit Department of the Karmasangsthan Bank Head Office Md. Amirul Islam, DGM of Loan and Advance Department Md. Moshiur Rahman, DGM of Branch Control Department Monoj Roy, DGM of Rajshahi Divisional Office Md. Mukhlesur Rahman, Gobindaganj Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Asaduzzaman, local journalists and all level of peoples also present at the inaugural ceremony.

It is worth noting that the activities of the two branches began by handing over loan checks to the entrepreneurs of the Gobindaganj and Sundarganj branches.
