The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has announced to continue cooperation with Bangladesh in the ongoing situation. After the resignation of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the organization clarified its position on Bangladesh.

The news agency Reuters reported that the IMF gave a loan of 4.7 billion dollars to Bangladesh in January last year. The organization said that after the fall of the government, they will work to maintain the economic stability of Bangladesh and provide inclusive growth.

At the same time, the IMF expressed its deepest condolences to those who were killed in the movement to overthrow the government.
