IFIC Bank has organized a day-long blood donation campaign to support children suffering from thalassemia. The initiative organized in collaboration with Bangladesh Thalassemia Foundation, was held at the Multipurpose Hall of IFIC Tower in Purana Paltan on May 22, 2025.

The program was formally inaugurated by Mr. Syed Mansur Mustafa, Managing Director of IFIC Bank. In his speech, he expressed keen interest in organizing similar blood donation drives on a larger scale in future to support the broader community.

Also present at the event, Professor Dr. Syeda Masooma Rahman, Vice-Chairman of the Bangladesh Thalassemia Foundation; from IFIC Bank, Mr. Md. Monitur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director & Chief Information Officer; Mr. Md. Rafiqul Islam, Deputy Managing Director & Chief of Branch Business; Mr. K A R M Mostofa Kamal, Deputy Managing Director & Chief of HR and Logistics; along with other senior officials from both organizations were present.

Employees from different departments of IFIC Bank actively participated in the blood donation event. The collected blood will be contributed to support the treatment of children suffering from thalassemia.
