IFIC Bank PLC held its Annual Business Conference 2026 on Saturday (10 January 2026) at the Multipurpose Hall of IFIC Tower. The Chairman of the Bank’s Board of Directors, Mr. Md. Mehmood Husain, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The conference was presided over by the Managing Director of IFIC Bank, Mr. Sayed Mansur Mustafa, and focused on reviewing the Bank’s performance over the past year while setting strategic business objectives for the year ahead.

Among the distinguished members of the Board of Directors present at the conference were Mr. Md. Ebtadul Islam; Mr. Kazi Md. Mahboob Kasem, FCA; Mr. Md. Golam Mostofa, and Mr. Md Monzorul Haque. The event was also attended by the Bank’s Deputy Managing Directors, Heads of Divisions, and Branch Managers from across the country.

In his address as Chief Guest, Chairman Mr. Md. Mehmood Husain stated, “Building a strong, transparent, and customer-centric banking system to address the country’s economic challenges remains IFIC Bank’s foremost priority. We are committed to ensuring sustainable growth through sound governance, effective risk management, technology-driven banking, and strategic transformation of our business model. In achieving these goals, the Board of Directors stands firmly committed to providing full support and cooperation to the management at every step.” Additionally, during the event, the Honorable Directors shared valuable insights and strategic guidance on a range of key issues, including corporate governance, the prevailing business environment, the regulatory framework, non-performing loan management, and the Bank’s future strategic plans.

The Bank’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) presented a comprehensive overview of the Bank’s overall business performance in 2025, highlighting key financial indicators and achievements.

In recognition of outstanding contributions in deposit mobilization, loan disbursement and recovery, and operating profitability, 24 branches were honored with special awards across various categories. The day-long conference concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, where branch managers shared their practical experiences and insights, adding to the vibrancy and effectiveness of the event.
