IFIC Bank conduct financial literacy program in the Southern Char Region

IFIC Bank PLC and Swisscontact, an independent non-profit development organization are working together for the upliftment of entrepreneurs from char areas in northern Bangladesh. As part of the program, IFIC Bank conducted a financial literacy program in Gangachara Upazila of Rangpur in collaboration with the Making Markets Work (M4C) project under Swisscontact on Sunday.  

Presided over by Mr. Sudhangshu Shekhar Biswas, Independent Director of IFIC Bank and Government Liaison Advisor of M4C Project, Mr. Madhusudan Banik, Executive Director (Current Charge), Bangladesh Bank Rangpur Office attended the program as Chief guest and Mr. Syed Mansur Mustafa, Managing Director of IFIC Bank attended the program as Special guest.  Other distinguished guests among Mr. Rafiqul Islam, Deputy Managing Director of IFIC Bank, Mr. Abdul Awal, Team Leader of the Making Markets Work (M4C) project were present at the event along with other officials from the respective organizations.   

Under this Financial Literacy program, local farmers and small businessmen have been introduced to various banking products and services by which they can improve their livelihood.
