IFIC Bank Celebrates International Women’s Day 2026

B Mirror Report:  IFIC Bank PLC celebrated International Women’s Day 2026 with the theme, “Today’s Steps for Tomorrow’s Justice Protect the Rights of Women and Girls.” The programme was held on Sunday, 8 March 2026, at the Multipurpose Hall of IFIC Tower, the bank’s head office.

The Managing Director of the bank, Mr. Syed Mansur Mustafa, attended the event as the Chief Guest. In his brief remarks, he expressed sincere appreciation to all female support staff for their outstanding contribution to daily operations. He also stated that IFIC Bank has been playing a leading role in the country’s banking sector in advancing women’s empowerment. Under its merit-based and inclusive initiatives, the proportion of female employees at the bank currently stands at nearly 30%, which is notable within the banking industry.

As the event was arranged on a limited scale in observance of the holy month of Ramadan, all attendees were greeted with flowers. Notably, all female support staff working at IFIC Tower, along with women heads of different departments, were specially invited to the programme. Among the members of the bank’s Senior Management Team, the Deputy Managing Directors Mr. Md. Monitur Rahman, Mr. Md. Rafiqul Islam, Mr. K. A. R. M. Mostofa Kamal, and Mr. Sheikh Akhter Uddin Ahmed were present at the event. Officials from various relevant departments at the head office also attended.
