IFIC Bank observed International Migrants Day and National Expatriates Day 2024 across various districts in Bangladesh. Under the guidance of the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment and in collaboration with district Commissioners, IFIC Bank participated in rallies and the ‘National Expatriates Fair 2024’ through its branches on Wednesday.

During the celebrations, aspiring migrants were encouraged to follow proper procedures and undergo necessary training for lawful overseas employment. IFIC Bank, in partnership with the Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training (BMET) and Marine Technology and Technical Training Centers, offers specialized training to expatriate workers on “Remittance Through Legal Channels” on regular basis.

The fair provided valuable guidance to migration aspirants and overseas workers regarding the use of proper banking channels for remittance transfers. With over 1,400 branches and Uposhakhas nationwide, IFIC Bank ensures that expatriates can remit their hard-earned money to Bangladesh seamlessly, allowing their families to conveniently collect remittances from the nearest IFIC Bank outlets.
