IFIC Bank and Labaid Group sign memorandum of understanding

IFIC Bank PLC and Labaid Group, one of the country’s leading healthcare service providers, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at ensuring enhanced healthcare facilities for the Bank’s customers and employees.

The MoU signing ceremony was held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at IFIC Tower in Dhaka in the presence of senior officials from both organizations. The agreement was signed on behalf of IFIC Bank by Mr. Helal Ahmed, Chief of Branch Business & Head of Operations. On behalf of Labaid Group, the agreement was signed by Mr. Sakif Shamim, Deputy Managing Director. Among others present at the signing ceremony from IFIC Bank were Mr. Dilip Kumar Mandal, Chief Financial Officer, and Mr. Md. Zakir Hossain, Head of Card & Digital Banking, along with other senior officials of the Bank.

Representing Labaid Group were Mr. Sharif Md. Abid, CEO of LifePlus Bangladesh Limited; Mr. Md. Jahidur Rahman, Deputy Manager & In-Charge (Corporate Services Department) of Labaid Hospitals; and Mr. Abu Nazim, Senior Manager & Coordinator (Corporate) of Labaid Cancer Hospital and Super Speciality Center, along with other senior officials. Under this agreement, all IFIC Bank customers, employees, and their family members will be able to enjoy special discounts on various diagnostic tests and healthcare services at Labaid Hospitals, LifePlus Bangladesh Limited, and Labaid Cancer Hospital and Super Speciality Center by using IFIC Debit and Credit Cards.
