President Moniruzzaman and Chief Operating Officer Mahbub Ahmed Siddique FCA of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) recently participated in a crucial IFAC Council Meeting in Vienna, Austria, on Wednesday.

In a notable photo session during the event, they were joined by Kevin Dancey, the Chief Executive Officer of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), and Brian Blood, the Chief Executive Officer of the Conference of Asia and Pacific Accountants (CAPA).

ICAB, recognized as one of the few founding members of IFAC, plays a pivotal role in enhancing global collaboration within the accounting community. This meeting served as a platform for discussions on key issues shaping the future of the profession on a global scale.
