IBA Celebrates Completion of EBD First Batch

The Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka, recently celebrated the successful completion of the Entrepreneurship & Business Development (EBD) Program- First Batch at its campus. The program, conducted in association with Prime Bank, was designed to equip aspiring entrepreneurs with advanced business knowledge and practical skills to support sustainable growth and innovation.

The ceremony commenced with a welcome address by Professor Dr. Khaled Mahmud, who underscored the significance of structured entrepreneurial education in fostering capable and future-ready business leaders. The event also featured insightful speeches by Professor Dr. Md. Mohiuddin, Professor Mohammad Ridhwanul Haq, PhD (Coordinator, MDP) and Professor Sheikh Morshed Jahan, who highlighted the vision, objectives and long-term impact of the EBD program in nurturing entrepreneurial talent.

Representing Prime Bank M. Nazeem A. Choudhury, Deputy Managing Director, emphasized the importance of strong industry- academia collaboration. He reaffirmed Prime Bank’s commitment to supporting entrepreneurial development through initiatives such as the EBD program.

The ceremony concluded with a certificate distribution session, marking the successful completion of the program and celebrating the achievements of the participants in an atmosphere of pride and accomplishment.
