In order to advance the nation by tackling international issues, Army Chief General Waqar-uz-Zaman has placed a strong emphasis on human values and discipline. He claimed that without kind and decent individuals, the nation could not advance.
Speaking as the main guest at the third international conference on “Mechanical Engineering and Applied Science” at the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) in Mirpur Cantonment on Saturday, July 19, the Army Chief made these remarks.
Prominent researchers and professionals from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, China, Japan, and Bangladesh attended the three-day conference, which covered a wide range of topics, including artificial intelligence, renewable energy, production techniques, thermal engineering, and space research. He said that the country will benefit if discipline is followed and that engineering education is extremely important for development. At the time, he presented awards to five individuals in five categories.
