Huawei has set up a training center in Dhaka to enhance the skills of network professionals who work on BTS (Base Transceiver Stations). This initiative highlights Huawei’s firm commitment to strengthening the local BTS engineers and workers and ensuring global Environment, Health, and safety (EHS) standards of Huawei in Bangladesh.

The training center will focus on two parts. Firstly, empowering local BTS professionals, including customers, subcontractors, channel partners by providing hands-on training and practical knowledge on installing commissioning BTS Equipment. Secondly, on EHS of BTS professionals.

In relevance to that, Huawei recently organized a drill for subcontractors (BTS professional) to provide training how to ensuring EHS while installing and commissioning BTS equipment in the training center. In the training, Huawei shed light on how to maintain EHS standard at all situations.

I believe the training center will play a vital role for them to be more skillful and ensure their safety during their work.”

Huawei is continuously taking measures to enhance engineering service of suppliers and EHS management by using digital technologies to manage EHS risks; monitor serious risks in real time to ensure safety in all scenarios.
