Gwaland Press Club Biannual election completed,President Aju, Secretary Shahidul

Md. Nazrul Islam, Rajbari District Correspondent: The bi-annual election of Goland Press Club of Rajbari, a traditional organization, has been successfully completed. In this election, Aju Shikdar, Goland representative of Baishakhi Television and Rajbari of Daily Samkal, Shahidul Islam, correspondent of Rajbari of Daily Janakantha, was elected unopposed for the post of General Secretary.
Mehdul Hasan Akkas, Goland Representative of Nayadigant, Deputy General Secretary, Zahurul Islam Halim, Goland representative of Dainik Amar Desh, Goland Representative of Ganamovie, Saifur Rahman Parvez, Goland representative of Azkal Khabar as Publicity Editor, Lutfar Rahman, Goland representative of Daily Amar Desh were elected unopposed.
Direct voting for the post of Vice President was held on Friday. Md. Nazrul Islam, Rajbari representative of Dainik Inkilab, was elected senior vice-president by getting maximum 13 votes out of 18 votes. Aminul Islam Rana, a representative of daily daily news, was elected as the second vice-president after receiving 12 votes. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Nahidur Rahman officially announced the result.
The president and editor of the selected committee said that we will work unitedly to protect the tradition of the organization and realize the professional rights of journalists. They seek everyone’s cooperation.
