Guardian to insure Plan International Bangladesh employees, dependents

Guardian Life Insurance Limited will provide comprehensive life and medical coverage to the employees of Plan International Bangladesh and their family members under a group insurance arrangement.

To facilitate the insurance coverage, the two organizations recently signed an agreement at Plan International Bangladesh’s head office. Sheikh Rakibul Karim, FCA, Chief Executive Officer of Guardian Life Insurance Limited, and Jolly Nur Haque, Director of Business, Partnership and Impact, Plan International Bangladesh, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

Present at the signing ceremony were Saniyat Rahman, Assistant Managing Director and Chief Enterprise Business Officer; Ghazi Rafi Ahmed Shams, Senior Vice President and Head of Group Business; Iftakher Ahmed, Senior Vice President and Deputy Head of Group Business; Jinat Ferdousi, Senior Assistant Vice President and Head of Group Service; and Abdullah Al Mehdi, Key Account Manager – Group Business, from Guardian.

Representing Plan International Bangladesh at the event were Sabrina Khan, Director of People and Culture; Mohammad Omar Faruk, Head of Finance; Shanta Dey, Manager, Talent Acquisition and Rewards; and Sikder Umma Kulsum (Ayrin), Specialist – People and Culture.

The partnership further strengthens Guardian’s growing corporate portfolio, which now includes more than 500 corporate clients across Bangladesh. The company provides insurance protection to over 1.3 crore lives nationwide and offers access to healthcare services through a network of more than 500 partner hospitals across the country.
