Grameen Bank charts course for 2024: Economic liberation of poor in focus

The 63rd Zonal Managers and Zonal Audit Officer Conference of Grameen Bank concluded Thursday at the Grameen Bank headquarters, focusing on the theme “Economic liberation of poor people.”

Chairman of the Board of Directors, AKM Saiful Majid, led the event, joined by Managing Director Mosleh Uddin, Acting Managing Director Noor Mohammad, other Board Directors, Deputy Managing Director Chaiduzzaman Bhuya, and top-level executives from all zones and audit offices across Bangladesh.

The conference served as a vital platform to review the overall performance of the bank’s various zones and audit offices. Attendees engaged in productive discussions, analyzing past achievements, identifying challenges, and formulating strategies to advance the bank’s mission of alleviating poverty.

Speakers emphasized the importance of innovation and embracing technological advancements to optimize banking services for Grameen Bank’s vast client base.
