B Mirror Desk : The notion of providing a dearness allowance to government employees in the forthcoming budget is being actively examined. A committee has been constituted to address this issue. They’re working on it. However, Finance Advisor Salehuddin Ahmed did not specify the rate at which the dearness allowance will be paid.
Salehuddin Ahmed, Finance Advisor to the interim administration, informed media after the meeting of the Advisory Committee on administration Procurement at the Secretariat on Tuesday.
In answer to a question from journalists regarding the government’s stance on India’s import restrictions, the Finance Advisor stated, “There is a meeting this afternoon. “I won’t say anything about it right now.” He also stated that he would not comment on the abolition of the National Board of Revenue. The ministry will make a press release regarding this.
