Imran Jhenaidah Correspondent: Fertilizer and seeds have been distributed among 4,500 farmers in Jhenaidah to increase the cultivation and production of Aman.
The distribution of these materials was organized by the Agriculture Office on Saturday morning at the Sadar Upazila Parishad premises.
At that time, Deputy Director of the District Agricultural Extension Department Shashti Chandra Roy, Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Rajiya Akhter Chowdhury, Agriculture Officer Noor-e-Nabi, Additional Agriculture Extension Officer Junaid Habib and others were present.
The Agriculture Office said that under the government’s incentive program in the Kharip-1 season, 5 kg of improved variety seeds and 20 kg of chemical fertilizers were given to each of 4,550 farmers in different areas of Sadar Upazila to increase the cultivation and production of Aman.
