Five banks have approved bonds worth Tk. 2,000 crore.

The regulatory body Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has approved bonds of 2 thousand crore taka of 5 banks listed in the stock market. The company’s bond issue proposal was approved in the 932nd commission meeting held on Tuesday (November 19) under the chairmanship of BSEC Chairman Khandkar Rashed Maqsood.

This information was disclosed in a press release signed by BSEC Executive Director and Spokesperson Mohammad Rezaul Karim.

BSEC has approved bonds of Islami Bank Tk 500 crore, Trust Bank Tk 450 crore, Dhaka Bank Tk 400 crore, Bank Asia Tk 400 crore and Exim Bank Tk 250 crore.
