53rd Shariah Council Meeting of First Security Islami Bank held the 53rd Shariah Council meeting of First Security Islami Bank was held on Sunday, September 15, 2024, in the bank’s boardroom. Chaired by Professor Dr. Mohammad Gias Uddin Talukdar, the meeting saw Chairman Mohammad Abdul Mannan call on everyone to ensure full compliance with Islamic Shariah in all transactions and activities of the bank.

He expressed sincere congratulations and gratitude to the members of the Shariah Council, which is composed of the country’s renowned Islamic scholars, and emphasized that the current board will not tolerate any deviation from Shariah compliance. The bank has begun efforts to make First Security Islami Bank a model of Shariah compliance, ensuring Shariah-compliant income for its esteemed depositors and shareholders. This includes enhancing customer and staff knowledge of Shariah, strengthening the training academy, and taking multifaceted initiatives.He emphasized systematic improvements in Shariah compliance and working towards establishing First Security Islami Bank as a proper Shariah bank, ensuring that customers can engage in Shariah-compliant transactions and secure halal, interest-free income.
