Financial Literacy Week Observed at Prime Bank’s Cumilla Branch

Prime Bank PLC. successfully observed Financial Literacy Week at its Cumilla branch. On this occasion, a discussion session was recently organized at the branch.

Approximately 150 participants, including common people, farmers, laborers, street vendors, security personnel, small business owners, students, teachers, and individuals from low-income communities, attended the session.

During the discussion, Prime Bank’s Head of Financial Inclusion and School Banking M M Mahbub Hasan, elaborated on various aspects of financial literacy, such as the importance of banking, financial planning, and benefits of savings, investment options, and methods of availing various loans.

Also present at the event were Md. Feroz Alam, SAVP from Prime Bank Financial Inclusion Team and Md. Mahbub Morshed, Head of the Cumilla Branch, among others.

It is worth mentioning that, in alignment with Bangladesh Bank’s Financial Literacy Week 2025, Prime Bank carried out various activities, including virtual programs, across several branches and agent banking outlets from March 17 to March 23.
