Carrying the slogan “Let secure cashless transactions be initiated through financial literacy,” Janata Bank PLC observed Financial Literacy Day–2026 on Monday, 02 March 2026.
On this occasion, a colorful rally was organized by the bank. Led by the Managing Director, Md. Mujibur Rahman, the rally started from the road in front of Janata Bank’s Head Office and paraded around the Motijheel–Dilkusha Fountain intersection.
The bank’s DMD Kazi Abdur Rahman, along with General Managers, Deputy General Managers of the Head Office, and officials and employees of all levels participated in the rally.
In accordance with the guidelines of Bangladesh Bank, Financial Literacy Day is observed on the first Monday of March every year with the aim of expanding overall financial inclusion in Bangladesh.
