East West University (EWU) kicked off its Spring Semester 2024 on Thursday with a grand orientation program welcoming nearly 1600 freshers. The ceremony, held at the university’s Aftabnagar campus in Dhaka, served as an introduction to both academic expectations and the vibrant life beyond the classroom.
With students joining undergraduate and graduate programs across 13 diverse departments, the event showcased the university’s commitment to fostering well-rounded individuals. Each department hosted its own program, providing personalized insights into its specific curriculum and faculty.
Prominent figures gracing the occasion included Professor Mohammed Farashuddin, Chief Advisor of EWU and former Governor of Bangladesh Bank, alongside Vice Chancellor Professor Shams Rhman, Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Ashike Mosaddik, Deans, and esteemed alumni.
