DUAA’s 75th Foundation Anniversary to Feature Year-Long Programs, Including Research Initiatives, Job Fair, and Honoring Ceremony

A press conference marked the announcement of Dhaka University Alumni Association’s (DUAA) extensive plans for the year-long celebration of its 75th Foundation Anniversary at the Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhavan on Friday.
DUAA President Anwar Ul Alam Chowdhury Parvez, addressing the gathering, disclosed that the year-long festivities would commence with a tree-planting program.
Highlighting the significance of mental health, he announced the upcoming ‘Mental Health Fair’ scheduled at TSC and underscored its importance for the nation.
Mr. Parvez further outlined the diverse lineup of events throughout the year, culminating in the Platinum Jubilee meet-and-greet with the Hon’ble Prime Minister at the end of the year. The schedule includes reunions, honoring ceremonies for alumni officials, poetry recitals, film screenings, debates, and musical events.

Notably, DUAA President Parvez announced the organization of a job fair in April at TSC among the noteworthy programs.
DUAA Secretary General Molla Abu Kawsar emphasized the pivotal role of Dhaka University in shaping Bangladesh’s future and urged collective efforts for the university’s comprehensive development.
DUAA revealed that their commitment to organizing 75 research programs as part of the 75th-anniversary celebrations.
DUAA shared that DU Vice-Chancellor ASM Maksud Kamal will grace the opening ceremony of the Platinum Jubilee at TSC on Saturday.
