Evins Textiles Limited, a publicly traded textile firm, has made the decision to acquire new machinery for denim fabric production at a cost of Tk 146.2 million to enhance its production capacity.

This decision was made during a board of directors meeting at Evins Textiles on Saturday (August 30). DSE sources disclosed this information.

As per the source, the board agreed to purchase two types of brand new capital equipment during the meeting. These include a Continuous Denim Dyeing Sizing Machine with Standard Accessories and a High Speed Warping Machine with Standard Accessories. The total expenditure for these machines will amount to $1.2 million, which translates to approximately
