Listed textile manufacturer Envoy Textiles Limited has decided to increase its denim fabric production capacity by modernising and automating its existing manufacturing facilities instead of setting up a new factory.
The decision was approved at the company’s 254th board meeting held on July 14, according to company sources.
Under the expansion plan, Envoy Textiles aims to boost its annual denim fabric production by an additional 8 million yards, raising total annual capacity from 52 million yards to 60 million yards.
The company said the increased output will be achieved by upgrading machinery, modernising production facilities, and incorporating automation technologies at its existing commercial production plant.
Envoy Textiles expects the initiative to improve production efficiency, reduce operating costs, and better meet growing market demand for denim products.
