Emerald oil production stopped.

The production operations at the capital market listed Emerald Oil Industries Limited factory are closed. This information is known from Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) sources.

According to sources, DSE had sent a letter to the company on November 19 seeking an explanation regarding the newspaper reports about the production activities. In response to DSE’s letter, the company said operations are currently closed due to insufficient gas supply at the factory.

The company informed DSE that it has imported 12 MT capacity 17.50 pressure Husk boilers to keep the company’s production running at full speed. The company will soon return to production after completing the installation of Husk boilers in the factory.

It is also reported that even though the production of the company has stopped, no workers have been laid off from the company.

This information is known from Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) sources.
