The Economics Club of East West University organized the National Economics Contest-2025 under the patronage of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC. on the occasion of 10 years of Economics Club on 20th February 2025 at the university campus. The Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC Mr. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed was present as the chief guest and gave a speech to the students. More than a hundred institutions from various public & private universities and renowned colleges of the country are participating in the competition. The Air Commodore (Retd.) Ishfaq Elahi Chowdhury, Treasurer of East West University was present as the special guest at the event. The event was presided over by Professor Dr. Mohammad Ashiq Mosaddiq.
Among others, the SAVP of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC. Md. Zakir Hossain, the In-charge of Public Relations Department of the bank K. M Harunur Rashid, the Chairperson and Associate Professor of the Department of Economics, Dr. Muntasir Chowdhury and Ismat Shirin, the Advisor to the Student Welfare Department were also present in the occasion.
