The Inditex Chair of Spanish Language and Culture of Spain, Santiago Fernandez Mosquera, on Monday met with Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor A S M Maksud Kamal to discuss ways to strengthen collaboration between the two institutions. 

During the meeting, they emphasized the importance of joint academic, research, and cultural exchange programs. They also explored the possibility of hosting an international seminar on “Language and Culture” at DU in February 2024.

Vice-Chancellor Kamal welcomed the visit and expressed his gratitude for the Inditex Chair’s interest in expanding collaboration with DU. He stated that DU is committed to fostering stronger ties with Spanish universities and looks forward to exploring new avenues of cooperation.

The meeting marks a significant step towards enhancing the academic and research partnership between DU and Spanish universities. Both institutions are committed to promoting mutual understanding and fostering a vibrant exchange of ideas.
