DSE’s P/E Ratio Rises in the Past Week

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the country’s leading stock market, saw an increase in its overall price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio during the past week (October 19–23). During this period, the DSE’s P/E ratio rose by 2%.

This information was disclosed in the DSE’s weekly market review.

According to the data, the DSE’s P/E ratio was 9.88 points at the beginning of the week, while it stood at 10.03 points at the end. This marks a 0.15-point or 2% increase in the P/E ratio over the week.
